Amapiano DJs for Event

We are hosting an energetic and vibrant event celebrating the best of Kenyan and Amapiano music at the end of April. This event aims to bring together young music enthusiasts for a night of unforgettable entertainment.

Job Description:

We are seeking 3 talented and dynamic Amapiano DJs to deliver an electrifying performance at this event in Nairobi. The ideal candidates will possess a deep understanding of the Amapiano genre, a strong stage presence, and the ability to keep the crowd engaged throughout the night.

• Perform a high-energy DJ set (1 hour) featuring a diverse range of Amapiano tracks, including current hits and classic favourites.
• Create a seamless and engaging musical experience that resonates with a young audience.
• Read and respond to the crowd’s energy, adjusting the setlist accordingly.
• Collaborate with event organizers to ensure the music aligns with the event’s theme and atmosphere.
• Maintain professional conduct and a positive attitude throughout the event.
• Arrive on time for setup and soundcheck.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Amapiano DJ, with a strong portfolio of mixes and performances.
• Ability to create a dynamic and engaging atmosphere.
• Strong stage presence and crowd interaction skills.
• Must be under the age of 28 years old.
• Based in Nairobi or surrounding areas, or able to provide own accommodation and travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience performing at similar events.
• A strong social media presence and online following.
