About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and highly skilled Creative Lead to spearhead the development and execution of our luxury fashion brand’s visual identity. This pivotal role will be instrumental in shaping how our collections and brand story are experienced across all touchpoints. Reporting directly to the Founder, the Creative Lead will be responsible for ensuring a cohesive and elevated aesthetic that resonates with our discerning clientele and reinforces our position as a leader in high-end fashion.

Responsibilities

  • Brand Visual Identity: Define, evolve, and maintain the brand’s core visual identity, encompassing its aesthetic principles, typography, color palettes, imagery style, and overall artistic direction.
  • E-commerce Website Design: Oversee the design and user experience of our e-commerce platform, ensuring it reflects the brand’s luxury positioning, provides an intuitive and engaging shopping experience, and optimizes for visual appeal and functionality.
  • Packaging and Print Materials: Conceptualize and direct the design and production of all packaging (e.g., garment bags, boxes) and print materials (e.g., lookbooks, invitations, stationery), ensuring they align with the brand’s premium aesthetic and sustainability goals where applicable.
  • Collaboration with Founder: Work closely with the Founder to understand the brand’s vision, values, and strategic objectives, translating these into compelling visual narratives and ensuring creative output is aligned with the overall brand direction.
  • Art Direction: Lead and art direct photoshoots, video productions, and other visual content creation, ensuring high-quality execution that captures the brand’s essence and elevates its image.
  • Trend Forecasting: Stay informed about current design trends, particularly within the luxury fashion sector, and identify opportunities to innovate and keep the brand’s visual language fresh and relevant.

Qualifications

  • A compelling portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of design principles and a sophisticated aesthetic, with a demonstrable preference for work within the fashion or luxury industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fashion Design, or a related creative field would be an advantage
  • Proven experience in a design leadership role, with responsibility for shaping brand visual identities.
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce design best practices and user experience principles, particularly within a luxury retail context.
  • Experience in designing and overseeing the production of high-end packaging and print materials.
  • Excellent art direction skills, with experience in directing photoshoots and video productions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • A strong understanding of the high-end fashion market and its visual landscape.
