OBY is seeking a female intern to join our team for a project with one of our top clients. This role will involve working under one of our Account Managers to support and strengthen communications between all stakeholders associated with the project. We are specifically looking for talent from a displaced background, someone who is passionate about effective communication and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies to enhance stakeholder engagement.
- Support the Account Manager in coordinating and managing communications across various channels.
- Draft and edit content for internal and external communications, including reports, and presentations.
- Monitor and respond to stakeholder inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Help organize and facilitate meetings, events, and workshops.
- Contribute to the creation of communication materials that align with the client’s goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of communication activities and stakeholder interactions.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Possession of a student permit, and an internship letter from the institution of study.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with communication tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of industry best practices in communications and public relations.
- Familiarity with content management systems and social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A passion for effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
Stipend: Ksh.30,000
