We are looking for a visionary Content Director to lead our content team and elevate our creative output to new heights.
The Content Director will oversee the development and execution of content strategies for our clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and impactful content across all platforms.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Developing and executing content and design strategies that align with all of OBY Afrika’s client goals, target audiences, and industry trends.
- Collaborating with account managers to identify the client’s marketing and advertising goals.
- Managing design projects, ensuring visual consistency and effective communication of brand messages.
- Developing project timelines and scopes of work for content design and planning.
- Working closely with clients and internal teams to plan content calendars, including content types, distribution channels, and publication schedules.
- Use analytics tools to track the performance of content initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Lead the content team and the content ideation to creation process, which may include photography, editing, graphic design, video production, and other creative elements.
- Ensure all content produced meets high-quality standards, is error-free, and aligns with brand guidelines.
- Work with the creative team to develop strategic solutions and creative concepts.
- Prepare and present creative content and design briefs to the agency’s creative team, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Significant years of experience in content creation and strategy, preferably within a creative agency or similar environment.
- Proven track record of developing successful content campaigns and strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring creative teams.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
- Proficiency in content management systems, SEO best practices, and digital marketing tools.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and client management skills.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
