Project Overview:
We’re launching a local video series, showcasing successful individuals and businesses in Nairobi. We’re looking for a talented and resourceful iPhone Videographer & Editor to capture and craft compelling 7-minute episodes.
Responsibilities:
- Filming:
- Capture high-quality video footage using an iPhone, adhering to our brand’s aesthetic.
- Conduct on-location interviews and capture relevant B-roll in Nairobi.
- Ensure clear audio recording in various environments.
- Work efficiently and effectively within a single afternoon shooting schedule.
- Editing:
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging 7-minute episodes.
- Incorporate graphics, text overlays, and music to enhance storytelling.
- Maintain a consistent visual style that aligns with our brand.
- Ensure smooth transitions and a professional final product.
- Deliver final video in required digital format.
- Logistics:
- Manage and organize all video files.
- Coordinate with our team for scheduling and project updates.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in iPhone videography and editing.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and video production principles.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., iMovie, LumaFusion, or similar).
- Ability to capture clear audio in various environments.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual quality.
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Must be located in Nairobi, and available to film in Nairobi.
- Portfolio or samples of iPhone-shot and edited video work.
