Are you a talented makeup artist with a passion for creating stunning looks that captivate audiences? Oby is seeking a skilled individual for a Makeup Artist role in an upcoming commercial ad project. As part of this opportunity, you’ll have the chance to showcase your creativity and expertise by designing stunning makeup looks that align with the advertisement’s concept and vision.
In this role you will,
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand the vision and concept of the commercial advertisement.
- Design and apply makeup looks that complement the advertisement’s theme, style, and aesthetic.
- Ensure makeup application techniques suit the lighting, camera angles, and on-screen requirements.
- Select and use high-quality makeup products and tools to achieve desired looks while maintaining safety and hygiene standards.
- Provide touch-ups and adjustments as needed throughout filming to ensure consistency and continuity in appearance.
- Communicate effectively with directors, producers, and talent to accommodate any special requests or concerns.
We are looking for someone who has,
- Proven experience as a makeup artist, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in commercial advertisements or similar projects.
- Extensive knowledge of makeup products, techniques, and trends, with the ability to create a range of looks.
- Certification or training from a recognized makeup school or program is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a creative team and interact professionally with talent.
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to makeup application, ensuring precision and consistency in every look.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
