We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a variety of nail care services, possess excellent customer service skills, and be dedicated to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our clients. You will be responsible for providing high-quality manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, and creative nail art, ensuring every client leaves feeling pampered and satisfied.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform professional manicures and pedicures, including nail shaping, cuticle care, callus removal, and exfoliation.
- Apply various types of nail polish, including regular polish, gel polish, and shellac.
- Expertly apply, maintain, and remove artificial nails, including acrylics, gels, and nail extensions/tips.
- Create unique and artistic nail designs, catering to client preferences and current trends.
- Consult with clients on their nail care needs, recommending suitable treatments, products, and aftercare.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and sanitation by sterilizing tools and equipment before each use and keeping the workstation clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and salon policies.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Stay updated on the latest nail care techniques, products, and industry trends.
- Manage appointments, handle client inquiries, and process payments if required.
- Promote and sell retail nail care products to clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician, 3+ years.
- Certification or Diploma in Cosmetology, Beauty Therapy, Nail Technology, or a related field is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of nail care techniques, products, and tools.
- Proficiency in various nail enhancement techniques and nail art.
- Strong attention to detail and artistic ability.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to listen to client needs and provide personalized recommendations.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
