Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Business Development Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and expansion of our luxury lifestyle brand, Oole Adero, or our innovative education consultancy, Panenka Education Ltd. You will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of business development, including market research, client outreach, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, partnerships, and market trends within the luxury lifestyle or education sectors (depending on the chosen focus).
- Assist in developing and implementing business development strategies to expand our client base and market reach.
- Support the creation of compelling sales and marketing materials, including presentations, proposals, and social media content.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential partners, collaborators, and clients.
- Assist in organizing and participating in networking events, industry conferences, and client meetings.
- Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and initiatives.
- For Oole Adero: Researching sustainable material sourcing and potential retail locations.
- For Panenka Education Ltd: Assisting in client aquisition for the homeschooling program.
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities and client interactions.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field.
- Strong interest in luxury lifestyle, sustainable fashion, education, or entrepreneurship.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Creativity and a passion for innovation.
- Experience with social media platforms is a plus.
