Job Summary

The holder of this position is responsible for the development of standardized tools, methodologies, and various business processes for the purpose of refining operational efficiency for the sales team.

He / She is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales-related data to the commercial team to increase overall sales productivity.

He/she will also create both standardized and custom reports, analysis of product and sales activity, and work with the sales team to provide overall support for internal, retail, and consumer campaigns.

The holder will play a critical role in the enhancement and improvement of top-line business understanding and decision-making.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • The candidate should be adept at developing and implementing new processes and procedures to enhance team operations. They should also be capable of creating and maintaining documentation on key processes and policies, and act as a liaison for sales force automation.
  • The individual must be skilled in standardizing and building business reporting metrics for strategic analysis. They should partner with sales leadership to develop and train teams on dashboards and reports, and help sales leaders make data-driven decisions through advanced analysis and forecasting.
  • The candidate should support the execution of the annual planning cycle, translate business objectives into targets for the sales team, and develop a demand plan aligned with supply planning processes.
  • The role requires analyzing performance metrics to coach and develop the sales support team, providing sales process training, and offering recommendations for sales strategy based on forecasting and analysis.
  • The candidate should oversee the enforcement of sales routines, facilitate team operations, ensure alignment with company strategy, and drive key work streams with clear project plans.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related area.
  • 3-6 years of experience in a similar role within an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) setup
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel or any other Business Intelligence (BI) tool is essential Power BI Preferably. Additionally, they should be familiar with any sales automation tool.
  • Well-developed capabilities in problem-solving and crafting efficient processes, with an innate drive to innovate and optimize resource use.
  • Ability to think both analytically and creatively
  • Possess strong  report writing skills and the ability to conduct independent research is important.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary, along with the ability to work well within a team.
  • Ability to translate different sets of data into a compelling whole story that drives value for commercial leadership is crucial.
