The Role

The Sales and Ticketing Agent is responsible for y providing exceptional sales and ticketing services to Jambojet customers. This includes promoting products, processing reservations, issuing tickets, and ensuring a smooth and efficient sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively promote and sell Jambojet products and services, including flights, ancillary services (e.g., baggage allowance, seat selection), and special offers.
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding flight availability, fares, schedules, and travel requirements.
  • Process reservations, issue tickets, and manage changes or cancellations accurately and efficiently using the airline’s systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Advise customers on the best travel options based on their needs and preferences.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue goals of the airline.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Jambojet’s products, services, promotions, and policies.
  • Handle cash and other forms of payment accurately and securely, following established procedures.
  • Reconcile daily sales transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the airline, travel, or hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport and handle customer inquiries effectively.
  • Target-oriented and motivated to achieve sales goals.
  • Fluency in English and Swahili (additional languages are an advantage).
