Kenafric Beverages & Bottling Limited is seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual with a passion for sales and a deep understanding of the FMCG sector to drive our growth in the Lower Mountain Territory.

Job Summary/Objective

The Trade Sales Executive will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to increase market share and drive sales growth in the Lower Mountain Territory. This position aims to establish and maintain strong business relationships with Distributors, Key Wholesalers, and retail outlets.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and action plans to achieve annual sales targets for the Lower Mountain Territory and its surrounding areas.
  • Manage and motivate the distributor’s sales team, including pre-sellers and retail teams, to ensure effective route planning and coverage of all outlets in the Lower Mountain Territory.
  • Conduct regular training and development programs for the distributor’s sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge, with a focus on the unique characteristics and needs of the Lower Mountain market.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to execute all marketing activities and drive demand for the company’s products in the Lower Mountain Territory.
  • Lead a team of merchandisers and ensure they are aligned with KPIs to enhance in-store visibility and execution in the Lower Mountain and the surrounding areas.
  • Ensure successful launch and adoption of new products in the Lower Mountain Territory.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly reviews with the distributor’s sales team to monitor performance and address any issues specific to the Lower Mountain market.
  • Engage with trade partners and distributors in the Lower Mountain Territory to create demand and execute all trade promotions effectively.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape and customer needs in the Lower Mountain Territory to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales performance reports and market insights to management, with a focus on the Lower Mountain Territory.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG industry, with a focus on the Lower Mountain Territory.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the Lower Mountain Territory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with the diverse customer base in the Lower Mountain Territory.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a deep understanding of the unique dynamics of the Lower Mountain market.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on the specific needs and challenges of the Lower Mountain Territory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive sales in the Lower Mountain Territory.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the Lower Mountain Territory and its surrounding areas.
