Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and client-focused Travel Consultant – Air Ticketing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing air travel arrangements for corporate clients, ensuring all travel needs are met with precision and professionalism. This role also involves handling other client requests, contributing to the overall travel management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Air Ticketing:
- Manage air ticketing for corporate clients, including issuing, reissuing, and processing refunds using GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre).
- Provide comprehensive travel solutions, offering various flight options that align with corporate travel policies and budgets.
- Handle complex ticketing requirements, such as multi-leg journeys, group bookings, and last-minute changes.
- Monitor and communicate any changes or disruptions in flight schedules, ensuring minimal impact on business travel plans.
Corporate Client Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, delivering tailored travel services that meet their specific business needs.
- Facilitate special requests, including seat preferences, meal arrangements, and loyalty program benefits.
- Source and book hotels and venues that match client preferences, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and client expectations.
- Provide additional travel services, such as hotel bookings, car rentals, and travel insurance, to offer a complete travel package.
- Ensure compliance with corporate travel policies and provide regular reporting and analysis to clients.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Address and resolve any travel-related issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, corporate travel regulations, and best practices to provide the most relevant advice and options to clients.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Ticketing Accuracy: Achieve a 98% accuracy rate in managing ticketing transactions.
- Response Time: Respond to corporate client inquiries and requests immediately.
- Client Satisfaction: Maintain a client satisfaction score of 95% or higher, based on feedback and reviews.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for corporate travel sales and services.
- Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to corporate travel policies and regulations.
- Up selling & Cross-Selling: Successfully offer additional services in at least 40% of client interactions, enhancing the overall value of the travel package.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in air ticketing, with a strong focus on corporate clients.
- Expertise in using GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) for complex ticketing requirements.
- Proven experience in managing corporate travel accounts, with an understanding of corporate travel policies.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, corporate travel trends, and best practices.
- A diploma or degree in Travel & Tourism or a related field is preferred.
