Job Overview

OBY Afrika is seeking 10 charismatic and professional individuals (6 ladies and 4 gentlemen) to join as Event Ushers for an exclusive embassy event, themed Tropical Soiree, set to take place on December 4th at Karura Forest. This high-profile occasion requires ushers to provide impeccable guest service, enhance the event experience, and contribute to the seamless execution of the evening.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, guide them to designated areas, and provide necessary assistance throughout the event.
• Maintain a poised and professional demeanor while engaging with high-profile attendees.
• Distribute event materials or itineraries and offer information about the evening’s activities.
• Coordinate with the event team to ensure smooth guest flow and address any concerns promptly.
• Monitor guest areas to maintain a tidy and organized environment.
• Provide support during transitions, such as moving between activities or meal service.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and approachable personality.
• Prior experience in event hosting, customer service, or related roles is preferred.
